COMING HERDING CAMPS

• July 16-20   Fido’s Farm Herding Camp 2012

  Five days of friends, new and old, wonderful dogs and a rich learning environment.
  
  Your team will spend half of each day in training sessions with Karen Child and Elsie Rhodes. You will work both sheep and ducks.
  
  Then, the remainder of your day you choose from a wide range of practical work stations designed to allow you to meet your own goals. Activities will include mob work, sorting, precision at free-standing obstacles, livestock movement challenges, small pens, open-field gathers and practice trial courses.
  
  Practical work coaches include Chris Soderstrom, Dave Larson, Erin O’Brien and Cynthia Mills. Additional instructors may be added if demand warrants.
  
  We will include cattle if enough campers are interesting in working them. Please let me know if this is something you want to do. We will have an additional fee for cattle — most likely between $50 and $100, depending on how many campers want to work cattle.
